Amazon came to us with an RFP for one of their largest internal events. My creative won the business, and then we took over Music City and threw an unforgettable party.

Ops Live is a biennial event that brings together senior Amazon operations leaders from around the world. In 2022, the stakes were even higher. Delayed a year by COVID, Amazon wanted more than just a leadership summit — they wanted a once-in-a-career, festival-style celebration to give back to the teams who had given so much through an incredibly difficult time.

We leaned into the energy of Nashville and made music the thread that ran through everything. From live bands in the convention center to three unforgettable nights of parties, including a private Bon Jovi concert at the Ryman, every moment was designed to celebrate, connect, and inspire Amazon’s global Ops network.

Ops Live 2022 was Amazon’s most successful to date. The strength of our creative not only won the business but helped pave the way for continued work with Amazon in the years that followed.

With over 3,000 sales staff trained in the week leading up to the launch of the Galaxy S10, the Infinity Screening Film Festival training program made the S10 the most successful Samsung launch in partnership with Verizon, ever.

We welcomed Amazon’s Ops team to Nashville with a “music jukebox” party inside the iconic Country Music Hall of Fame.

Designed as a sampling of everything that makes Nashville so special, the experience featured five live stages with different music genres, chalk artists, pop-up barbers, specialty bars, and local food stations—all capturing the city’s unmistakable energy and charm.

Inside the convention center, we kept the energy high with music-themed swag, lasso lessons on the expo floor, and a live band that scored the keynotes with a soundtrack only Nashville could deliver. Every detail reinforced the city’s spirit and made the entire experience feel unexpected, fun, and uniquely local.

Instead of designing the concert poster in-house, we partnered with the legendary Hatch Show Print to create a limited-edition block-print in their iconic style. It brought a piece of Nashville history to the event and gave attendees a collectible they’d actually want to keep.

For the main attraction, we teamed up with YouTube superstar Bad Lip Reading to create a series of short films that illustrated different key features of the Galaxy S10: A scary movie about the horror of running out of battery. A romance about falling in love with a camera. And so on.

On night two we brought Amazon’s Ops team to the mother church of country music, the Ryman Auditorium, for a once-in-a-lifetime private Bon Jovi concert. The performance had everyone captivated and delivered exactly the kind of unforgettable moment Amazon wanted to give their team.

To close out the event, we took over the Wildhorse Saloon and cranked up the energy with a neon-filled finale party.

We pulled the glow and spirit of Broadway into the club, creating a full-on neon firework experience with custom installations, motion graphics, and an immersive 3D photo booth. Guests danced under a neon disco ball chandelier, sipped moonshine and pickles, played games, and soaked in one final night of music, lights, and celebration.
